I haven’t played Destiny 2 since just after it first launched. With the old HNG, we cruised through the original content the game had to offer and then stopped playing a few weeks after the first raid was released. It was a fun game and the clan enjoyed our time with it, but it got very repetitive very quickly so we all kind of lost interest.

Well the other day I decided to pick it back up again and it seems like the perfect time to do so. I happened to log in right at the beginning of the month long event known as Solstice of Heroes. It’s a very in depth challenge that will reward you with unique armor, if you can complete all the challenges associated with it. I haven’t had a lot of time to work on the challenges, but I’m slowly making progress and I’m hoping to complete at least one characters armor set before the end of the event.

Needless to say however, with the big event going on and the fact that I now have 2 DLC to work through with another on the way, I’m hooked. I’m planning to use Destiny 2 as my flag ship for building my new gaming organization TFN (Task Force Nerd). I’ve already slowly began recruiting and my current goal is to just get some active members into the group and start building relationships.

If you’re into Destiny 2, don’t feel like this is a recruitment post (I mean it is kinda), if you play, you can always just add me as a friend. I take part in all in game modes and events and am always looking for people to play with.

What do you think of Destiny 2? In my opinion, I think Bungie is doing a better job of trying to keep the player base engaged with new events and content. Let me know what you think in the comments below and thanks again for reading.
